Dr Monica Masucci

Lecturer In Strategy and Entrepreneurship

Monica is a Lecturer in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sussex Business School and Director of the MSc Strategic Innovation Management. She holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University in Italy. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Copenhagen Business School and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She also worked on a number of research and consulting projects dealing mostly with firms' internationalization strategies, new business development and innovation management in the consumer goods and energy industries.

Tom Ricca-McCarthy

Tom brings more than 30 years’ experience in technology leadership, spanning FTSE 100 organisations and venture-backed startups and scale-ups. His various roles have included periods of rapid growth as well as difficult or complex turnarounds in high-pressure environments.

Tom has deep commercial experience across leadership teams, having served as CEO, Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor, and Mentor to many founding teams in Tech for Good in the social, health and environmental sectors.
